Aurora Aksnes is born the 15th of June, 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. The name she is most commonly used for her professional work is Aurora and sometimes stylized with lowercase letters, such as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by the label Decca Records in May 2015 with great praise from music bloggers and the press. She's recorded a variety of well-known song covers, including Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) The songs are widely loved. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is the discovery of a piano in her attic and being awed with the sounds it could create. The parents of her May-Britt family and Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to pursue music not as a profession or a hobby, but as a way to develop. The singer began to write songs of her own. Her sources include renowned authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan along with her attraction to Bjork's style. When she was told by her mother that her songs could be a catalyst for her to gain popularity, but also help other people realize their significance in the world and realize the potential of them, she decided to begin performing publicly. In the age of 6 She began playing the piano, and when she was nine when she began to write songs. Family members didn't even know about her musical talents until she turned 14. Aurora was not a goal. The actress claims that she likes creating songs. She says that music is her favourite way of feeling something.
